hush of ovens, aeroplanes and of distan car horns. a pulse, your pulse.

The easy silence then was a sweet relief to this hush Of ovens, aeroplanes and of distant car horns. A fire a fire, you can only take what you can carry. A pulse your pulse, it's the only thing I can remember I break you don't, I was always set to self destruct though. The fire the fire, it cracks and barks like primal music

My mum just got back from Holland with tartan tights for me, a huge flower hairclip, speculaas, a plastic figurine of Zwart Piet, pumpkin and gourd shaped chocolates. She also shared hazy pictures of the furniture she has purchased as well as an exciting shot of the Just Sold sign. I can't wait to see our new house (we sold our cottage and have purchased a new one.) If anyone has any good interior design inspiration sites please share!

I leave you with the Polaroid I took as a test shot for the B+W film roll I have to do on the theme of Doubles. I have some things planned with outlines, mirrors and twins...

And count me in for living in the Victorian ages, but only if the birdcage contains a canary.

hi ana - i love that pollaroid you took. I'm pretty envious of people who own pollaroids, they are absolutely impossible to find in Peru. And I haven't been able to reproduce their effect on photoshop...

I'll add you to my links too, I really like your blog -
and yes, the title of my blog is from the song by Beirut.

tartan tights sound great by the way (not only the actual tights but the combination of words "tartan tights"!)
