freakshow circus

Halloween is such a great holiday! Strangers just giving you candy. I think thats nice that people still have a bit of trust. At school we did our annual parade. Us freshman dressed as ninjas and lurked around all day, and fough with plastic swords. Then after school my friends and I walked down to a cafe and encountered some odd boys. When night fell we started trick or treating, and got asked to be photographed by a German, ate lots of candy and encountered our hilarious bio teacher.

{Hot Topic skirt. Spandex. Celeste Stein tights. Gap shirt. Forever 21 blazer and necklace. White lace gloves. Corso Como heels. Top hat from some costume store}

Inspiration

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!

You and you friends look amazing - i was looking for a red blazer like that EVERYWHERE for halloween because i was going to dress as a circus ringmaster but i couldnt find one - i was really gutted. How do you get that tinge on your photos? is it a camera filter or an effect? i love it. Loving the diamond patterend tights too.

Halloween here is just a big slut fest, one that i refuse to conform to haha! so nice to see that someone still does it tastefully, and with great style :)

these outfits and these shots seriously amazing!!

i wish i could still go out trick or treating without people asking me and my friends "heyyy... aren't you a bit... old?" i need to find a five year old to go trick or treating with so that i can avoid that loathsome question. all i want is free candy! and the ability to dress up with no abandon!

Ana! I'm confused! I'm a follower of your blog, and at the blogger dashboard it gives a preview of a new post of yours but when I come to your page it's not there! What's going on? I'm dying here.

Ah! I see. Thanks for answering!
And your dad worshipped David Bowie? Lucky. My dad went to Woodstock but is such an old tilly he can't remember a thing.

Tavi said...

That's so ironic. My dad is an english teacher. Is it that all now nerdy teachers were once hippies, smoking and wearing john lennon glasses and sporting fros and wearing flower necklaces made from grass?

Actually...I'm rather glad my dad doesn't have woodstock pictures. Very, very glad.

Wow. I love this! Everyone looks so young, innocent and clean and fresh! These ideas ARE fresh (ghetto speak for kick ass). Also, I like how you all do short skirts for H.Ween without being skanky or slutty as most people tend to do after they reach college. Bravo.
